On Friday, October 13, 2023, professionals from throughout Kids Central’s system of care gathered at Circle Square Commons in Ocala for the CARE Awards and training. “CARE” stands for “Celebrating Achievement, Recognizing Excellence,” and that is exactly what took place at this year’s awards ceremony.

The CARE Awards encourage excellence and innovation among the child welfare professionals of Circuit 5 – Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion, and Sumter Counties. While all of our case management team, support staff, and community partners work tirelessly to support the children and families in our care, the CARE Awards give special recognition to those who go the extra mile. These exceptional individuals positively impact our work in child welfare and serve as role models to others. Everyone had a wonderful time at the event.
