National Child Abuse Prevention Month

April was National Child Abuse Prevention Month. This month Kids Central encouraged community partners, community members, and our system of care to wear blue and plant a pinwheel garden to help bring awareness and support to the prevention of child abuse. Kids Central partners with dozens of organizations to highlight the incredible work done across our circuit each year, and from prevention and diversion programming to legislative changes, each piece plays an integral role in preventing child abuse before it begins.
