Mrs. Carly Sayles is a lifelong resident of Lake County, Florida and has more than 20 years serving the less fortunate within her community. Since 2020, she has been the Pantry Manager for Lake Cares Food Pantry in Mt. Dora. In this role, Carly successfully fed over 67,000 individuals including the homeless and over 18,000 families in Lake County in 2022. Mrs. Sayles also serves as the Office Manager for her husband’s business, Moses Homes, LLC which assist homeless adult males in gaining safe, clean and affordable housing.
She previously, co-created and co-directed Fresh Start Summer Food & Recreation Program from 2010 to 2017 to provide working parents an affordable and safe place for their children to attend and receive a nutritious meal during the school summer break. In 2008 Carly founded Fresh Start Program Ministers of Lake County, Inc., a non-profit, where she and husband Maurice delivered food to the elderly, sponsored, and co-coached an AAU boys and girls traveling basketball Program.
Carly has 4 adult children and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
