Chuck is a retired non-profit CEO. A graduate of Bob Jones University, he spent over 30 years with the American Heart Association, including 13 years of service as CEO/COO of AHA state and regional affiliates. Most recently, he served 5 years as CEO of the Murphy Harpst Children’s Center, a residential therapeutic treatment center and foster care program outside Atlanta, Georgia.
Chuck and his wife, Angie, love to travel abroad. They spent their first 7 years of retirement outside of Cabo, MX, before moving to The Villages 3 years ago. Family is a big part of their lives, including two adult daughters, their husbands, and seven grandchildren. They are active at Live Oaks Community Church.
Chuck is a pilot and loves to tinker with airplanes at the Leesburg airport. He is also very involved in the Leesburg Chapter 534 of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
