Jim recently retired after a 42-year career in Financial and Operational roles, most recently serving as the CFO of large law firms for over nine years. Jim received his B.A. degree in Accounting from Tennessee Temple University, Chattanooga, TN and also obtained his CPA license in Tennessee. Jim married Peggy, his college sweetheart and they have two children and four grandchildren.
Jim has been active in his community for many years including serving in leadership roles in his church and the Board of Directors and Finance Committees of United Way of Broward County, FL. He has also been involved in mentoring young men aging out of foster care for 15 years in Broward County, FL, Kansas City, MO and Atlanta, GA. Jim is passionate about sharing the opportunities to get involved in the foster care system to anyone who will listen.
His hobbies include spoiling his grandchildren, golf, photography, biking and travel.
