Kevin Sheilley was named the first President and Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed Ocala-Marion County Chamber Economic Partnership (CEP) in 2012. The CEP is a public/private organization created by the merger of the local Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Corporation. Sheilley came to Ocala from his previous position as president/CEO of Northwest Kentucky Forward, a position he held for 7½ years. He was hired at NWKF to form a multi-county regional economic development agency that included four counties.
Before that, Sheilley worked as the executive director/CEO of Team Taylor, the economic development agency for Campbellsville and Taylor County, Ky., an agency he served for 6½ years.
Sheilley and his wife, Lisa, have three children: Trae, David, and Rachel.
