John Aitken

John Aitken has served as Kids Central’s Chief Financial Officer since 2005. In this role, he provides leadership to all administrative departments including Finance, Contracts Management, Human Resources, and Information Technology. John proudly leads a team of administrative professionals dedicated to supporting Kids Central’s clients, programs, and employees while utilizing best practices to promote accountability and stewardship.

John has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida since 1997. He has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and risk management. Since 2008, John has been honored to serve as a member of the finance committee for the Florida Coalition of Children. This role provides him many additional opportunities to advocate for children at risk of abuse and neglect in our state.
